Lincoln, Neb. – The Nebraska State Dairy Association would like to congratulate Sen. Deb Fischer on her new role as chair of the Livestock Subcommittee. With her years of experience as a Nebraska cattle rancher she has the experiences and expertise to serve in the role.
“As a Nebraska dairy producer, we are pleased to have Sen, Fischer’s expertise at the table,” said Bill Thiele, president of the NSDA. “We need to be sure we have representation that will represent Nebraska’s livestock producers, especially dairy producers. We know Senator Fischer is the right person to represent the livestock industry.”
“Over the years, Senator Fischer has been a tremendous asset for agriculture and she will continue to represent the dairy industry,” said Rod Johnson, NSDA executive director. “As we look at policies and bills that affects Nebraska’s dairy producers, Sen. Fischer will keep the best interest of the industry in mind.”
The Nebraska State Dairy Association looks forward to working with Sen. Fischer on policies and bills as they impact dairy producers in Nebraska and across the region.
